Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How domain transfer works

Option 1 (most preferable)

Domain push within the same registrar. Example: You have purchased domain example(dot)com which is registered with GoDaddy. You can create your free account at GoDaddy.com and give us your GoDaddy ID number and your email address related to your GoDaddy account. We will push your new domain into your GoDaddy.com account within minutes. You can log in to your GoDaddy account and approve the domain in your account. Now the entire domain transfer is finished and you can enjoy your new domain name.

Option 2

We will unlock the domain name at the current registrar and provide you with unique authorisation transfer code. You will initiate the domain name transfer at your preferred registrar, they’ll ask you to enter the authorisation transfer code. We’ll approve the transfer. The transfer from one registrar to another may take 7 business days or even more with some ccTLD (Country code top level domain). Once the domain is transferred, your registrar will notify you.

What is domain renewal

Every domain name has an expiration date and needs to be renewed prior to expiration. Domain name may be renewed minimum for one calendar year and maximum for 10 years in advance. Renewal costs depends on the extension and registrar. For example domain name .com may cost between $10 – $15 per year.

Premium domain names may have premium renewal cost. This apply mostly to the New gTLD (new generic top level domains) where the renewal cost may be from $25 to even few thousand USD per year. This premium renewals are charged by the registry. We always state in the domain name description if renewal is more than $30 per year.
